  • National Museum of African American History and Culture For the historic ground-breaking ceremony of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, our friends at Showcall asked us to provide a concept design for the stage. The stage design took its cue from the angular forms of the new museum. Flanking the stage were background panels honoring great African Americans throughout history.     2012 Creative Direction, Set Design
  • MTV Networks For the last 10 years Locust Grove Studios and the exhibit house, Red Giant Studio, have successfully worked together to design creative solutions for this leader in the cable industry.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Branding
  • Samsung This design was for Samsung's launch of apps for their home theatre and phones. The structure was located towards the entrance of their flagship store in NYC. Visitor learned about the new features apps would bring to their products by viewing informational videos on four 55" Plasma TV's displayed on custom frosted acrylic ledges. The form of the App Portal mimicked an app icon, allowing visitors to "enter through the app".     2011 Creative Direction
  • Sherwin Williams Williams Gerard approached us to develop two concepts for a large corporate event for Sherwin Williams. The large stage needed to fill the arena and still connect with the audience.

The first concept was a dynamic and colorful rock 'n roll stage. Stage elements were "painted" with light providing versatility to constantly change the set over the duration of the event. For the second concept we proposed multiple layers of hanging panels and a multi-tiered stage deck. The "arrow" motif was repeated throughout the set, referencing Sherwin Williams' paint swatches. A large vertical screen in the center allowed for multiple session looks.

For both concepts we designed the theme graphics ensuring a consistent integration between stage and graphics.

  • Lucas Film Ltd. These concepts were visualized for our partners at the production house Red Giant Studio. We were asked to provided multiple concepts for varying budget rages for the Lucas Film Ltd. exhibit space at Comicon '08. The exhibit space included lounges and vitrines for Star Wars the Clone Wars and Indian Jones and Crystal Skull memorabilia. The design incorporated Glassfire for video projection and LED technology.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Graphic Design
  • Chrysler: Past / Present / Future The ad agency, Benchworks, approached us with a request to design a mobile promotional experience. The project included a two-prong plan to develop a mobile unit, paired with an exhibit structure that would accompany it at auto trade shows.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Branding
  • Macrovision Working with our friends at the production house Red Giant Studio, we develop an integrated booth design and overall branding of the space. Our challenge was to create an environment that could easily communicate the complexities of their home media products.

The exhibit space created a virtual home media environment with multiple rooms to illustrate how the product flowed and worked through the home. The design employed contemporary materials alluding to a home of the future. The combination of opaque and transparent walls provide a unique meeting environment where conversations could take place in the "living room."

  • MonaVie This concept design was developed with our friends at Williams Gerard for the MonaVie Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City's Convention Center. The stage design focused on staying connected with the audience at all times. This was accomplished by a number of key design decisions. The decking was multitiered, allowing the presenter to work the entire stage. Overhead a large truss, lit with LED, reached out over the audience. The center circular screen had an invisible slit allowing for a central entrance. Flanking on the left and right, were 4 large oversized rear projection screens allowing viewers towards the back to still feel connected to the presenters.     2011 Creative Direction, Set Design
  • General Growth Properties For the past several years we've partnered with Cloverlea Entertainment to provide design and video production for General Growth Properties. Each year we developed a different theme for this large corporate event. The event was put on for over 3,000 of their employees in Las Vegas.     2011 Creative Direction, Set Design, Graphic Design
  • FOX Networks This network's programing that is varied, ranging from the Fox Sports Channel to National Geographic and many more. The challenge is to create an environment that speaks to this dynamic and media driven client.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Branding

In conjunction with the exhibit, we developed a visual system to easily understand the interconnection of their product line and services. The highlight of the exhibit space was a Virtual ER allowing attendees (all heart surgeons) to understand the ease of using the products through a hands-on experience.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Graphic Design

  • FedEx For this project we were hired by our friends at Digital Blue to develop an integrated graphic theme and stage for FedEx Freight. The event was attended by FedEx executives to introduce a new freight branding campaign. The stage consisted of two large outboard screens and a large center screen flanked by LED curtains.     2011 Creative Direction, Set Design, Branding
  • Audi Concept design for an event to launch to the AUDI A8.     2011 Branding, Creative Direction, Set Design
  • Motorola Razor The concept uses the stage and lighting rig to split the room into two spaces, thus fulfilling the need for both stage and exhibit hall. Audience members were first welcomed into the stage area. Following the presentation, the audience was invited to enter the exhibit hall through the center of the stage, then proceed down a ramp into the exhibit hall to interact with the newly launched phone. This has both a dynamic conceptual effect as well as a great visual one.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Branding
  • Aflac For this project we were hired by our friends at Williams Gerard to develop an integrated graphic theme and stage for AFLAC. The event was attended by AFLAC employees to introduce a new branding campaign. The stage consisted of two wide-format outboard screens and a large center screen.     2011 Creative Direction, Graphic Design, Set Design
  • Chrysler: Power / Innovation / Style The ad agency, Benchworks, approached us to design an exhibit space to highlight the power, innovation and style of Chrysler. The walls of this exhibit space are constructed of 4'x4' hanging transparent acrylic Glassfire panels. These panels both frame the space, as well as provide a surface to project video and light. Projected video is visible from both inside and outside the space. From a distance the walls act as beacon, attracting viewers from across the show floor.     2011 Creative Direction, Exhibition Design
